We are looking for a Branch manager for Quadrus investment services Ltd


The role of branch manager is to ensure that the mutual fund trading activities performed by investment representatives (sales representatives), office administrative staff and anyone else associated with the branch office are compliant with securities regulations, the MFDA and AMF rules and By-Laws and Quadrus policies and procedures.

Branch managers must undertake certain activities within the branch office for purposes of assessing compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and provide a means of revealing and addressing undesirable account activity.

They are responsible and accountable to supervise the investment representatives with respect to mutual fund trading activity and anyone else associated with the branch office.


What you will do

  • Review and approve new accounts, KYC updates and trading activities (e.g. subsequent investments, redemptions).
  • Following up on and addressing suitability issues
  • Preapprove trades for new advisors and advisors under close supervision
  • Review and preapprove leveraged investing strategies submitted by advisors
  • Assist with the compliance education of investment representatives and admin staff within the branch office and maintain evidence of training for future reference
  • Ensure completion of the mandatory 90day training program
  • Participate in periodic office visits (physically or virtually) to satisfy MFDA policy 2 supervision requirements

  • Advisor role/model including Industry
  • Branch Manager qualification with Canadian Securities Institute, The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFSE)
  • Registered to sell mutual funds for over two years
