Our primary focus provides 3D mapping technology in GPS-denied environments using LiDAR automated data collection and simultaneous location and mapping algorithms.
Position
Primary Duties
- Coordinating with the product development team to improve product quality and upgrades.
- Developing assembly, quality assurance and maintenance plans for the product(s)
- Design, develop and refine 3D fabrication of parts and assemblies
- Participate in research of best in class components and options for integration into new solutions
- Review and refine optimization for 3D fabrication across multiple 3D printer platforms
- Work with robotics, mining and electrical engineers to support the design of product improvements and revisions
- Manage the production, QA and validation of parts to specifications and requirements.
- Assembly, field validation and design revision of next release products
- Support fabrication of component elements in product development and evolution, including electrical components and custom part fabrication assembly.
- Develop validation and testing strategies that demonstrate design compliance, quality assurance and quality control
- Prepare QA/QC reporting and prepare field test plans to stress test revisions and innovations.
- Prepare a report of all results, confirm design and market readiness, recommend any revisions prior to fabrication
- Participate in defining manufacturing workflow prior to scaling up
Requirements:
- Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, soldering, etc.)
- Ability to work handson with electronic and mechanical devices; including assembly, disassembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to work in North Bay, Ontario
- Able to meet physical demands of the position
- Valid "G" class driver's license
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimum supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Post Secondary Degree
- Experience in understanding Agile tools and workflow are advantageous.
- Underground experience
- Experience with LiDAR sensors
