Outside Sales Representative - Tytan Glove and Safety

Tytan Glove & Safety Inc. has been providing PPE products to industry for over a decade in Ontario.

Our parent company, Magid Glove & Safety Mfg in Chicago, Illinois, has been a leader in the PPE industry for the past 67 years.


We offer base pay plus monthly UNCAPPED commissions; paid vacation; full benefits; 40-hour work weeks; and no nights or weekends.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Use your sales skills to prospect and qualify leads, identify client needs, and help facilitate the sales process.
  • Develop and achieve targets for sales, gross margin, and new account growth.
  • Manage a call schedule to ensure the assigned territory targets are met.
  • Report to Vice President of Sales regarding sales progress, goals, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Networking to identify decision makers, processes, and procedures involved with the procurement of safety supplies.
  • Providing value above and beyond price by walking through key value propositions that will increase efficiency in your prospects role.
  • Utilize your presentation skills to educate clients about the products and services sold.
  • Complete administrative tasks and reports as required.
  • Additional sales duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Cold calling/hunter of new business.
  • Very organized with superb motivation and ability to work well independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Dedicated.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Competitive by nature.
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs/CRM.
  • Must possess valid driver's license and Canadian passport.
