The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for
Computer Science Sessional Instructors **to teach University Transfer Courses on campus.

These part-time sessional positions will
commence in May 2023 and end in August 2023.
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Instructors' primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s.
-
Master's degree in Computer Science

Online and facetoface
experience teaching Computer Science at another postsecondary institution.
Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset)
Demonstrated success in innovative or studentcentered teaching techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Salary

We offer competitive compensation.

For example, for a course with five contact hours and two office hours, we
offer $9,628.24 for a master's degree holder and $
10,746.58 for a Ph.

D. holder. The course compensation is linked to
teaching hours.
