- CPA, CFA or CBV and experience in the investment area
- Minimum of 10 years of experience and 5 years in an M&A role
- Demonstrated leadership and financial management capacity in the venture capital and private equity industry
- Have excellent analytical skills , reasoning and organization
- Significant knowledge in project management including the structure of deliverables, management of the economy, issues and risks related to the engagement
- Collaborative and team-centered approach

Your responsibilities in a nutshell
Lead and assist in the identification of all business development opportunities – Play a leading role in developing and defining the M&A strategy (M&A) – Work closely with the management team to develop and refine inorganic growth initiatives – Evaluate the financial and strategic fit of potential opportunities – Analyze financial statements and perform valuation analyzes and evolve the industry trends and competitive landscapes – Prepare comprehensive investment analysis through a standardized process and present to management for decision making – Support deal origination activities, including identification of targets, making contacts, preparing indicative valuation and providing negotiation support – Lead the end-to-end transaction execution process, including due diligence, financial modeling and deal structuring – Build relationships at long term with senior level investment targets – Participate in strategic post-acquisition integration activities and ensure continued adherence to the investment model in close collaboration with partners to ensure anticipated value creation is realized – Develop comprehensive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) operations playbooks and advise on governance and best practices for the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) process – Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to junior team members and oversee their training and professional development – Work closely with various partners and teams: finance, legal, engineering, and sales and marketing, to align business development activities with the overall strategy of the company.
