Brandt is currently looking for a Territory Manager - Material Handling in our Red Deer location.

The Territory Manager will be responsible for the implementation and achievement of all the overall sales and marketing plans for assigned territory targets.

The Territory Manager role will drive sales of forklift and/or other material handling equipment in their assigned territory. This role will be very influential in the overall growth of Brandt Material Handling business within the assigned territory.


Responsibilities:


  • Sell both New and Used material handling equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Travel entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospectaccount locations.
  • Be fully engaged with growing our customer base by:
  • Growing our share of our existing customer base's
  • Acquiring new customers
  • Identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan
  • Building relationships
  • Keep current on customers' business activities and changing needs.
  • Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to):
  • Sales call activities
  • Customer Lists (both current and prospect accounts)
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Other projects/duties as required.

Required Skills:


  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal driven.
  • Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.
  • Must be familiar with the Material Handling industry, having spent some time working in or servicing it.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to travel throughout the assigned area of responsibility (AOR).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license (a recent driver's abstract will be required).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
