    Responsibilities

    Equipment Installation and Maintenance:

    • Install, dismantle, and relocate machinery and equipment as needed.
    • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

    Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in machinery and equipment.
    • Identify and repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime.

    Precision Alignment:

    • Perform precision alignment of machinery and components to ensure accurate operation.
    • Utilize laser alignment tools and other precision instruments for alignment tasks.

    Welding and Fabrication:

    • Conduct welding and fabrication work on metal components and structures.
    • Repair or fabricate parts to meet specific requirements.

    Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems:

    • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in machinery.
    • Troubleshoot and rectify issues related to fluid power systems.

    Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to and promote safety protocols and procedures.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety training programs.

    Read and Interpret Blueprints:

    • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
    • Use this information to assemble, install, and troubleshoot machinery accurately.

    Predictive Maintenance:

    • Implement predictive maintenance techniques to anticipate and prevent equipment failures.
    • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.

    Tool Management:

    • Manage and maintain tools and equipment required for millwright tasks.
    • Ensure tools are in good working condition and calibrated as necessary.
    Qualifications

    • Valid Ontario (433A) Industrial Mechanic Millwright is a must
    • 45+ years of handson experience in a manufacturing facility
    • Strong foundation of and not limited to; fabrication, injection molding, Chemical processing, machine fixing, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulic/pneumatics, mechanical expertise, electrical basics
    • Previous experience in plastics/chemical processing & manufacturing or steel manufacturing is ideal
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, coupled with innovative thinking and independence
    • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic, fastpaced setting.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
