    Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco's corporate office is based in Saskatoon. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.

    The Role

    Cameco has a great opportunity available for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to be a part of a diverse procurement team responsible for supporting all of Cameco's Saskatchewan operations on a permanent basis.

    In this role, you will:

  • Source a range of materials, equipment and services, conduct RFQ's/RFP's and interact closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will be contributing to value creation from procurement activities, acting as a service provider to our partners in Saskatchewan operations, as well as participating in continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Sourcing best overall value to meet internal customer needs, generating and expediting purchase orders in an SAP environment, developing and executing contracts, managing vendor on-time delivery and facilitating expeditious resolution of blocked invoices to ensure efficiency in the procure-to-pay process.

    • Required:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or in a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in the supply chain management procurement field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

    • Recommended:

  • Previous SAP experience
  • A Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or another comparable designation
