The Role

Cameco has a great opportunity available for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to be a part of a diverse procurement team responsible for supporting all of Cameco's Saskatchewan operations on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will:

Source a range of materials, equipment and services, conduct RFQ's/RFP's and interact closely with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be contributing to value creation from procurement activities, acting as a service provider to our partners in Saskatchewan operations, as well as participating in continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Sourcing best overall value to meet internal customer needs, generating and expediting purchase orders in an SAP environment, developing and executing contracts, managing vendor ontime delivery and facilitating expeditious resolution of blocked invoices to ensure efficiency in the procuretopay process.

Required:

A bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or in a related field.
Three or more years of experience in the supply chain management procurement field.
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Recommended:

Previous SAP experience
A Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or another comparable designation
