    Description
    Delivery Driver & Materials Handler

    The Delivery Driver & Materials Handler is primarily responsible for maintaining inventory of concrete related products, receiving shipments, preparing customer orders, and ensuring products are delivered on-time.

    A customer centric mind-set and clean driving record are paramount in this role. Receive and inventory concrete related products.
    Verify accuracy of shipment contents.
    Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required.
    Organize storage yard space and maintain a clean site and accurate inventory.
    Receive purchase orders and assemble orders for delivery.
    Communicate with suppliers, customers and internal staff regarding deliveries, stock levels and billing.
    Operate delivery truck and deliver product to construction sites in Edmonton and surrounding area.
    Ensure delivery truck is clean and well maintained.
    Provide additional backup support to the warehouse and delivery team as needed.
    Valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
    Previous experience operating a forklift.
    Previous experience working in the construction or concrete industry is an asset.
    Typical hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8AM – 4:30PM.
