- Oversee and monitor the budget, staffing, and inventory within the pharmacy and identify areas for performance improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that comply with legislation, bylaws, and regulations, as well as accrediting body standards.
- Provide full-scope clinical services such as medication management, review, and injection services.
- Advise customers on the selection and usage of non-prescription medication.
- Provide advice and counselling to patients on possible side effects of their medications and answer any questions they may have.
- Maintain medication profiles of patients and communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
- Have a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree or a Doctorate in Pharmacy and are in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience in a retail environment, with experience leading technical, professional, and/or management employees.
- Experience with Kroll would be considered an asset.
- Are licensed or able to become licensed to practice in the Province of Alberta with Injection Certification.
- Are APA Certified or working towards certification.
