We are currently looking for a dedicated and organized individual who aligns with our values of sincerity, commitment to quality, responsiveness, friendliness and a can-do attitude to fill the role of PT Administrative Assistant with our Head Office team at Edmonton, AB location.


Overview


The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the store locations by ensuring that business operations are maintained in an effective and efficient manner.

The Administrative Assistant reports to the Office Manager, Assistant Office Manager, Team Lead and upper management. The Administrative Assistant will maintain 40-44 hours per week


Responsibilities:


  • Representative and promoter of the Paris Jewellers Brand.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with receptionist duties.
  • Greet guests with a positive and energetic attitude both in person and on the phone.
  • Respond to questions and requests from stores and customers in a timely manner.
  • Assist with customer service request, complaints and celebration
  • Assist with shipping and receiving for stores and manufacturers.
  • Assist in the distribution and shipping of marketing material.
  • Distribute mail.
  • Assist with stock transfers and preparing manifests with high level of accuracy.
  • Assist with tagging merchandise.
  • Data entry.
  • Maintaining stock and inventory control.
  • Ensure daily operations are completed and to standard.
  • Participate in and complete all training and development programs.
  • Participate in and maintain cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of accountability.
  • Always act in the best interest of the company.
  • General office support.
  • Other duties as required.

What we look for:


  • 1+ years of Jewellery experience is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service role is required
  • 2+ years in an administrative and/ or personal assistant role is required
  • Ecommerce shipping experience
  • Ecommerce customer care experience
  • Experience of working on Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset
  • Organization skills
  • Able to edit and proofread all outgoing documents with accuracy
  • Mature and positive attitude
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Proficiency in English
  • Able to adapt to immediate or unforeseen challenges
  • Strong work ethic
  • Natural ability to develop relationships
  • Has a high standard of personal accountability
  • Has the drive to achieve goals and targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid class 5 drivers license
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed
