Your contribution**The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop, maintain, and adhere to procedural and technical documentation
  • Actively participate in business unit training initiatives
  • Participate and take lead on projects as required
  • Monitoring of local data center infrastructure
  • Management of local data center infrastructure and asset lifecycle
  • Management of both preventative and corrective infrastructure maintenance
  • Management and negotiation of preventative maintenance service contracts
  • Compliance with relevant SSAE 18, ISO and PCI controls
  • Support daily site operations, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the facility, and infrastructure
  • Identifying areas for operational optimization, adhering to best practice
  • Facilitate the implementation of business initiatives and strategy within the data center environment
  • Participate in the development of, and adherence to, OPEX and CAPEX budgets
  • Participate in weekly change management meetings, presenting to the Change Advisory Board, working with vendors to create supporting MOPs
  • Support the sales team, providing creative solutioning for new opportunities, RFP and RFI responses
  • Be available 24/7 for local infrastructure escalations, and support

The profile we are looking for

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a missioncritical facility operations leader role
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience managing electrical, mechanical, and lifesafety systems
  • Expert working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems used in data center environments. Including, but not limited to, UPS, ATS, Generators, PDU's, RPP's, Chillers, CRAH, CRAC, ATS, STS and Preaction systems
  • Knowledge of NFPA25, NFPA70e, NFPA72, and compliance, as well as building codes in relation to fire life safety.
  • Knowledge and experience in data center trending, analysis, and capacity planning
  • Knowledge of BMS and BAS monitoring and controls systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Pragmatic thinker, able to work with limited supervision
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Able to deliver independently and take lead on local initiatives
  • Thorough understanding of facility capacity planning and industry best practices
  • Thorough understanding of data center tiering classifications (UTI) as well as thermal guidelines and policy (ASHRAE TC9.9 etc.)
