Our Industrial Reliability Solutions division helps industry thrive by implementing solutions that enable our customers to make their operations more reliable, which will increase productivity, reduce operating costs, and eliminate health and safety incidents for all workers.


The Solution Manager accomplishes this by working closely with our suppliers, our market, our customers, and our internal sales team to develop and market reliability solutions.

Solutions include equipment condition monitoring products and services, reliability engineering services and plant reliability process management optimization services.


Objectives are, among others, to:


  • Responsible for ensuring the growth and profitability of product and solution sales
  • Support the sales team and marketing campaigns
  • Develop the technical skills of the sales team

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Support the growth of the Reliability Products and Services portfolio, developing sales programs, sales tools, marketing campaigns, initiatives, as well as creating a customer vision and upstream consultative sales engagements
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Industrial Reliability Solutions to define goals, develop industry growth strategies and define operational plans for business growth
  • Work closely with the sales teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements: identify and evaluate opportunities and codevelop winning proposals with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales enablement tools and sales campaigns
  • Develop and manage market penetration initiatives, including sales strategy and marketing requirements
  • Support the growth of sales, profitability goals and metrics associated with industrial reliability solutions
  • Engage outside sales teams (account managers/technical sales specialists) to discover and pursue opportunities
  • Support internal sales teams in proposal development and followup
  • Ensure a rich, fair, and real funnel for the initiatives they manage for the Industrial Reliability Solutions division to achieve financial results Define call cadence with all required stakeholders
  • Supports sales to execution handoff to ensure 'as sold' scope and objectives are clear and met
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by assuring we deliver the value that was sold, approving QBR and effectively managing the customer relationship with the sales teams
  • Support customers, internal and external sales teams in terms of advanced technical knowledge in industrial reliability solutions
  • Build business relationships with our suppliers and partners and collaborate with them in the development and execution of sales growth initiatives

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment and in plant maintenance
  • Fluent French & English language skills (verbal, reading, and writing)
  • Must be willing and able to travel frequently in the region that corresponds to the scope of the business development opportunity
  • Good knowledge of industrial processes
  • Good knowledge of good maintenance practices in industrial plants
  • Good knowledge of reliability processes
  • A developed sense of the customer's business, objectives, and operations
  • Results oriented and shows perseverance in the face of obstacles
  • Understands the value proposition of selling industrial reliability solutions and related services
  • Good knowledge of local competitors' solutions, value propositions and market strategies
