As a Systems Administrator 3, you will provide knowledge and expertise on adoption of Cloud Computing and Open-Source Services

Primary duties include:

Evaluate and adopt infrastructure technology services including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), DevOps and Software as a Service (SaaS) for various business units.

Use Cloud Computing and Open-Source Software Services business model to determine the risk level, identify mitigation to enable innovative technology solution.

Lead and facilitate project deliverables; manage client's requests through intake; evaluate and adopt (including proof of concept, performance, and reporting) technology solutions.

Collaborate with corporate partners to identify risk mitigation, business impact analysis, cost analysis, establishing and testing exit strategy, as well as compliance with data security, corporate records management, and privacy requirements.

Perform hybrid cloud architecture and brokerage to design secure and efficient solutions for business needs.

Qualifications
***A completed 2 year technology diploma with at least 8 years experience; OR a degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years experience.
Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.

Strong knowledge and experience with Cloud Computing, licensing and compliance, and Open-Source platform/technologies will be considered assets.

Previous experience with project management, business impact analysis, and risk management, gathering business requirements, and ITIL Service Management will be considered assets.

Pre-employment RequirementsA security clearance will be conducted.
