We are looking for anApplication Specialist (Engineering/Technologist) to join our team who creates, connects, and inspires.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Be an integral part of a winning team.
- Collaborate with our outside sales teams to create technical proposals, quotations and bid packages of our core products: Variable Frequency Drives, AC induction motors, and Motor Control Centres.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers through business development meetings, proposal confirmation and followup, and delivering results.
- Liaison with project execution team to provide technical expertise and guidance.
- Asist with strategic vision and marketing of core products.
- Create and innovate processes to increase the efficiency of inside sales activities.
- Strategically engage customers to achieve or exceed their delivery and cost goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- A desire to win.
- A curious mind, a desire to learn, and an ability to innovate.
- Ability to visualize and communicate unique solutions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills both written and verbal
- A proven track record in being a contributing player on a successful team.
- Time management expertise.
- Familiarity with motor controls, motors, and power distribution products considered an asset.
- Strong spatial reasoning ability.
- Solid negotiation, deal making, selling and presentation abilities.
- Entrepreneurial work ethic.
