*Due to Fulger Transport Inc.'s rapid expansion we are now looking to introduce a new Afternoon Shift for our Fleet Repair Facility. The company is actively seeking to hire a new Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to be a key member for this shift to support Fulger Transport's operations. The ideal candidate would be an automotive repair professional with a proven track record within the commercial truck repair industry. Experience and knowledge with commercial truck repair.
Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.

• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by the General Manager.

*Experience:

• This individual must have at least 1 years in commercial truck repair.

*Enrollment in a Red Seal Program such as 310T considered an asset.

• Solid interpersonal skills.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• 3:00pm EST to 11:00pm EST Monday to Friday, 7:00am EST to 11:00am EST every other Saturday.
