Job summary
This position functions between critical care,rehab,medicine,surgery,oncology,nutrition,and radiology areas.As Float Technician,you will ensure that an optimum level of patient care is maintained 24 hrs/day,7 days/week.Manages critically ill patients;emergency animal care;induction,maintenance,and recovery from anesthesia as instructed by licensed veterinarians.Assists in imaging/ultrasound procedures of patients.Handles/restrains animals.Maintains health records.Assists in supervision of teaching undergraduate veterinary students.Maintains equipment,supplies,& facility.
