West Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) (Full Time Permanent):


The Role and Opportunity:


The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for a Administrative Assistant for the Assertive Community Treatment Team, West Team (ACTT).

The Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) is a multidisciplinary team providing community-based support, rehabilitation and treatment for people living with mental illness.

The team is based out of CMHA Toronto - Lawrence Site. Services are provided in the community and focus on stabilization, community integration, quality of life and recovery from mental illness

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting to the Program Manager of West ACTT, the Administrative Assistant will work in a fast paced environment to provide administrative support to the ACT clinical team. These supports will include organizing, coordinating, and monitoring operations of the ACT Team. As well as receiving calls and responding to office walkins, triaging and coordinating communication between the team and individuals. The Administrative Assistant will also be required to activity participate in the daily team meeting, assisting with organizational recordkeeping and scheduling activities. The role will also include ad hoc administrative duties within the agency as needed.


The Administrative Assistant will be managing medical records, and coordinating receipt of medical records and utilizing information systems, including inputting data and documents.

While doing so they will have to ensure to protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical and, personal information.

The individual will be required to run timely reports on date to track team performance and maintain accounting and budget records for program expenditures.


The role will also require the Administrative Assistant to use good judgement in assessing difficult situations and a willingness to increase and build upon knowledge about mental health issues as part of an approach that is respectful and sensitive to the clients and families of the West ACTT program.

Salary:
$38,880 - $48,225
