We are currently seeking aCredit and Collection Specialist to join our Corporate office, located in Burlington, Ontario.
In this role, you will have regular communication with Gentek's Sales & Distribution employees across the country, as well as third-party vendors.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of credit, collection, and administration for both retail and commercial accounts
- Reconcile payments of both retail and commercial accounts against Gentek's record of receivables
- Collection calls for areas assigned
- Establish reasonable credit limits per customer, both new and existing
- Evaluate and analyze credit data
- Obtain and analyze bank and trade references
- Obtain and analyze credit reports
- Liaise with applicable Sales & Distribution staff to assist with effective management of A/R issues and collections
- Document collection efforts
- Special projects as assigned by the Director of Credit

Qualifications:
Education/Experience/Skill
- Postsecondary education in business or related field an asset
- Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences
- Must be computer proficient
- AS400 experience an asset
- Experience in construction industry an asset
- High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes
- Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees
- Attentive and detailoriented
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and perform in a fastpaced environment
- Must be able to endure largely sedentary work
