    Camp Counsellors manage and supervise a group of campers (kids aged 5 – 13) throughout the day.

    Together with the supervisor, they will operate the summer day camp program throughout the week while adhering to safety protocols.

    Supervise a group of campers between 5-13 years old; always be available to help and guide campers/volunteers follow the camp program and activities, ensuring a fun, safe atmosphere for all campers and staff; and set a good example for (and help manage) volunteers.


    Planning & Engagement:

    Plan and implement the daily programming of skill development, games, and other activities to your group; participate in planning special events/activities for the group or whole camp as part of the staff team including meetings; build and foster relationships with campers in your group and be aware of individual needs, special needs, and health concerns.

    Adhering to and enforcing all camp safety plans and return camp operating guidelines; Set a good example for campers, staff & volunteers by being conscientious and supportive of policies.

    There will be 1 supervisor at each camp location.

    The supervisor will oversee all camp operations at that location including managing a small team of Camp Counsellors, CITs (Counsellors-in-Training) and volunteers.


    Pre-Camp walk through:
    Prior to the start of camp, supervisor will complete a walk-through of camp location(s) to have a thorough understanding of pick-up/drop-off areas, field and indoor locations, and set up requirements


    Management of camp location:

    ensure staff/volunteers follow the camp program and activities, ensuring a fun, safe atmosphere for all campers and staff; handle administrative work required from head office; Communicate with head office regularly, provide evaluations for each of your staff and recommendations for improvements, provide daily feedback to parents, and take & email camp photos to head office.


    Planning & Engagement:

    Plan and implement the daily programming of skill development, games, and other activities to your group; participate in planning special events/activities for the group or whole camp as part of the staff team including meetings; share lunch time with group, ensures kids enjoy their meal time and contribute to cleanup; build and foster relationships with campers in your group and be aware of individual needs, special needs, and health concerns.

    Adhering to and enforcing all camp safety plans and return camp operating guidelines; Must organize and maintain equipment, supplies and camp products in an orderly fashion.


    Inventory management:

    Store, maintain, and transport equipment to and from camp and return equipment, products, supplies and all inventory at end of season to head office.

    Remote locations must reuse boxes provided during pre-season shipping for the post-season return of inventory and the shipping instructions provided near the end of the season.

    Set a good example for campers, staff and volunteers by being conscientious and supportive of policies.

    CITs will work closely with Camp Counsellors and supervisors to implement camp activities and ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone.

    Under the guidance and direction of counsellors and supervisors, CITs will help in planning and supervising campers during all aspects of camp.


    Camp engagement:

    Work with camp counsellor(s) and a group of campers (kids aged 5-13 years old); always be available to help and guide campers/volunteers follow the camp program, activities, ensuring a fun, safe atmosphere for all children; and set a good example for volunteers (under the supervision of a camp counsellor and camp supervisor).


    Planning & Engagement:

    Set a good example for campers, staff and volunteers by being conscientious and supportive of policies.

    We are looking for 5 or 6 Regional Coordinators in Ontario who will manage and oversee 5 to 8 camp locations in a geographical area.

    Regional Coordinators will be responsible for providing support and feedback to camp staff to ensure efficient camp operations.

    Work with camp counsellor(s) and a group of campers (kids aged 5-13 years old); always be available to help and guide campers/volunteers follow the camp program, activities, ensuring a fun, safe atmosphere for all children; and set a good example for volunteers (under the supervision of a camp counsellor and camp supervisor).

    We are looking for 5 or 6 Office Coordinators to work out of our Head Office location in Burlington, Ontario.

    Office Coordinators will be assigned various tasks that support different areas of operating the summer camps across the country.
    Providing effective customer service, including telephone and email support for inquiries relating to summer soccer camp registration and operations
    volunteer coordinator, registration, donation/subsidies, permits/booking, camp staff recruitment, inventory, marketing)
    Develop and maintain good relationships with parents, guardians, camp staff, co-workers and camp stakeholders
    Support all onsite camp staff inquiries
    Implement and promote all Royal City soccer camp company policies, procedures, culture, vision, values and goals
    Assist with all departments where necessary (customer service, marketing, general office administration)
    Be available to shift hours during certain time periods, including occasional Saturdays in July/August
    Volunteers are an important part of our camp success.

    Please note that to be eligible to volunteer with us, you must be at least 14 years old by the start of your week of camp.

    Morning Sessions (20 hours/week, Mon-Fri 8:30am – 12:30pm)
    Assisting camp staff with coaching and teaching soccer to campers
    Assist with equipment collection and maintenance (i.e. Help setup games and activities for kids 5-13
    Maintain a clean camp environment; help kids to pick up all garbage and recycling
    Helping to ensuring a safe environment for everyone and adhering to all safety protocols
    Communicate any issues with camp staff and supervisor
    If applicable, help with changeroom and leisure swim supervision
    General assistance around camp
    Adhere to and help enforce all camp policies and procedures
