About the work environment:

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home.

Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00 pm with flexibility around start & end times.


About you

About you / qualifications

  • Professional designation (CPA or CFA) with a minimum of 57 years' experience
  • Strong corporate finance background, keen business sense, with demonstrated ability to thrive in fastpaced, deadlineoriented environments.
  • Background in merger and acquisitions deals and CBV designation preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully working with clientele to develop and implement equity capitalraising requirements, such as New Issues, Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Follow-On Offerings, and Special Warrants.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to understand market and economic trends, analyze a business from a commercial and operational standpoint, perform financial and sensitivity analyst, draw accurate and thoughtful conclusions
  • Project Management processes and abilities to handle multiple processes flows and a track record to balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Strong decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent ability to influence with a collaborative nature and strong communication skills
  • Highly motivated selfstarter with a sense of urgency

About the day-to-day

  • Lead all financial analysis in the evaluation processes (e.g. valuation, diligence, investment committee presentations, IOI/LOI submittals, negotiations, etc.).
  • Initiate, build and maintain strong relationships with external capital market consultants and internal project leads to develop and execute a fundraising strategy that aligns with the company's goals and growth plans.
  • Assist in the structuring and financial modeling, conducting industry research, preparation of investor decks and marketing materials for potential investors.
  • Synthesize data to support and/or modify investment thesis and analyze information from investment material to recommend opportunities to pursue; Remain flexible and be able to maneuver through multiple scenarios
  • Conduct financial modeling using discounted cash flow, LBO, and other valuation methods
  • Research previous transactions, private placements and comparable public companies to develop ranges for business valuation
  • Deliver well communicated, balanced, and comprehensive analyses for each stage of deal evaluations and due diligence for the business's executives and key stakeholders
  • Participate in a leadership role in integration activities of newly acquired companies or newly developed business segments
  • Perform other ad hoc financial analysis or modelling project.
