Responsibilities
The Marketing Manager plays a significant role in guiding the day-to-day activities and strategies in the

Marketing & Communications Department to drive an enhanced member experience and maximize

exposure for our client. This organization supports members and stakeholder engagement through a

variety of communication streams and activities, providing brand support and strategy for events &
education, sponsorship, and the membership experience.

  • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to
conceptualize and execute effective communications strategies that articulate the organization's

core values and benefits

  • Interact with internal team members, designers & communication production suppliers to
create content and B2B brand communications

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of highprofile events (inperson, virtual and hybrid)
with a clear understanding of multi-media event production and experiential engagement

strategies

  • Serve as a seasoned writer. Competent in working independently to write concise, wellpolished
newsletters, and event script writing

  • Solid understanding of business acumen including tracking and evaluating research,
engagement, analytics, and profit/loss statements

  • Continuously measure and improve content performance; track and respond to marketing
automation systems, leverage findings from Google Analytics, Informz and social media analytics

tools to create reports & determine strategy

  • Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends in order to build effective thought leadership,
editorial content for all current and future channels used by the organization

  • Produce highquality stories, press releases, case studies, presentation content and web copy
  • Maintain the MarCom budget: solicit estimates, process, reconcile and file all related invoices

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related discipline
  • 5+ years of content marketing or direct copywriting experience; experience in Commercial Real
Estate a definite asset

  • Experience/consistent performance in deadlineoriented environment due to tight time
restraints and volume of work

  • Collaborative spirit, with the ability to manage multiple projects and juggle priorities both
through internal department deadlines and external deadlines

  • Clear, effective communicator—verbally and in writing— excellent grammar, punctuation,
proofreading and spelling skills

  • Strong knowledge of content marketing strategy and social media channel deployment
  • Resultsoriented; proven ability to prioritize, drive and achieve results through self and others
under time pressure

  • Demonstrated ability to work productively with counterparts in a crossfunctional capacity
  • Ability to effectively delegate and manage time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast
- paced, professional environment; possesses an uncompromising approach to setting daily

priorities and hitting deadlines

  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Project management skills and able to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a
complex environment and focused on the delivery of results

Canva and Adobe Suite is an asset
