Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Test Lead for our Crown Corporation client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Must Haves:

At least 5 years experience testing Azure systems, Active Directory and Identity management (Most important)
5 to 8 years of experience leading testing in a hybrid environment (as applicable)
Experience in creating Project Test Strategies/Plans covering functional, SIT, E2E, Regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases
Experience managing multiple testing streams and crossfunctional teams
Strong communication, collaboration and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

Perform activities based on Crown Corporation practices and procedures
Interact with stakeholders for task allocation and prioritization.
Define and manage the overall test strategy & detailed test plan.
Take ownership for management of testing activities and ensure that risks are identified and appropriately mitigated. Escalate as required.
Track overall progress of execution of the engagement.
Perform all testing execution
Coordinate the development, planning and execution of new functionality, integration, end to end and regression tests.
Facilitate the defect management and coordinate with all impacted parties to ensure that defects are appropriately raised, prioritized and resolved.
Assist with the setup and management of the test environments and test data.
Report on all test deliverables and obtain signoff.
Responsible for the overall testing related project activities and deliverables.
Handle project escalations and provide resolutions.
Track overall progress of execution of the engagement.
Define and manage overall testing and defect management process and activities, including performance and automation.
Communicate test results and status to the project manager and/or key project leadership and stakeholders. as well as the development or architecture leads responsible for corrective actions
Work closely with development, architecture and support organizations providing direction on testing activities, reporting on test progress and system readiness across a portfolio of initiatives.
Participate in product readiness and release decisions and provides test signoff documentation.
