OVERVIEW
The Porter will be assisting servers and bartenders with food and beverage duties as assigned by the floor manager to ensure a fast and timely service for both internal and external customers at Parq Vancouver.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primarily delivering supplies throughout the second floor of the casino and Salons
- Assisting bartenders at Center Bar with stocking the bar
- Assisting servers with clearing tables and maintaining a clean and tidy environment for guests
- Ensure the Porter station is stocked, cleaned and organized
- Operate in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Responsible for providing professional and superior customer service in accordance with established company standards
- Greet all guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Perform other jobrelated duties, as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to get along well with others in a team environment
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 LBS
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Committed to promoting a safe work environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Proven superior customer service experience
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs of a casino environment
- Friendly, outgoing and professional
- Has a respectful approach and pleasant demeanor
- Previous experience in a similar role
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS
- Valid GPEB License
- BCLC Certifications
- Serving it Right Certification
- Food Safe Certificate
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
