Job Summary:


Responsibilities & Essential functions:


  • Offer product solutions to customers, promote value added services
  • Source, quote and purchase parts for counter and call in customers, General, Assemblies and millwright work, assisting with quoting as required
  • Maintain stocked material and part inventory levels
  • Confirm receipt of all purchase orders and relay delivery dates to the customer or inside staff
  • Assist with developing and improving inside sales and purchasing processes
  • Acquire documents as required by the customer (material certs, product certification for FPI's etc.)
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer order flow & fulfillment.
  • Run sales reports using Nevus (purchase order tracking, month end reports, etc.)
  • Strive as a group to meet the department KPI of 28% gross profit
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors
  • Entering accounting information and receiving with the AS400 system
  • Monitor and track supplier performance
  • Assist with receiving duties as required
  • Coordinate order shipments with internal and external courier services
  • Assist with the implementation of new initiatives within the business
  • Perform other tasks as required
  • Be an asset to our customers

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience with MRO purchasing and/or manufacturing industry
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • Have a working understanding of Health & Safety best practice and OH&S Legislation
  • Have a working understanding of the ISO 9001 quality management system
  • Have excellent organizational & time management skills; attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new skills and desire to accommodate requests
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess computer skills and competency in MS Word and Excel and AS400/Jobboss
  • Machining and or millwrighting experience would be considered an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$24.00-$30.00 per hour
