    My name is Melissa, I am a recruitment consultant in finance, accounting and payroll. I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region.



    I am looking for a senior financial analyst (FP&A) for a publicly traded group in the West Island.



    Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of the monthly general ledger close responsibilities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis.
    • Preparing and presenting insights based on analyses, key metrics trending, and quantified risks and opportunities.
    • Assisting the team in preparing the Financial Reporting requirements package to the Parent Company and aiding in reviewing the Financial Reporting package to the Parent Company.
    • Business partnering
    • Collaborating with internal customers to produce accurate and complete financial reports.
    • Developing, streamlining, improving, and automating processes and procedures using the Continuous Improvement methodology.

    Your Profile:

    • 10 years' experience in accounting with a CPA designation.
    • Advanced level of expertise in Excel.
    • Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX, S4 Hana SAP & SAP Analytics cloud.
    • English and French, both verbal and written.
    • Experience in Financial analysis and audit.
