    Business Analyst /Corporate Lending Operations Analyst

    • Contract Duration 1 year

    Corporate Lending Operations Overview

    • Our team comprises over 70 professionals dedicated to:
    • Bi-lat Loan Administration
    • Loan Administration for US clients
    • Agency Administration
    • Loan Sales & Trading
    • Business Support Team for operational & financial controls, compliance, and system operations

    Job Responsibilities

    • Preparing reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)
    • Handling Excel reports (Macro/output and inputs), VBA, Tableau/ Alteryx (nice to have)
    • Investigating and completing needs, resolving queries from other teams
    • Mastering information search based on queries
    • Demonstrating investigative skills and initiative
    • Managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
    • Adapting to diverse systems and applications, being tech-savvy and patient with IT challenges

    Job Accountabilities

    • Sound knowledge of operating environment, business process, and corporate lending products lifecycle
    • Executing complex transactions accurately and timely
    • Conducting Loan administration activities including account balancing, funds investigation, and transactional reconciliation
    • Identifying and resolving operational issues beyond basic service delivery
    • Collaborating to enhance operations and sharing knowledge
    • Creating consolidated and tailored reports as needed

    Job Requirements

    • 3+ Years of Corporate/Commercial Lending Operations Experience in Financial Institutions
    • Bachelor's Degree in finance, International Business or related fields
    • Risk management focus with high accountability
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Advanced Excel skills, and tech-savviness
    • Clear, professional communication (oral and written) in English

    Must Haves

    • Proficient in Excel
    • Experience in Corporate/Commercial Lending Operations
    • Manage priorities effectively
    • Strong communication skills for stakeholder management
    • Risk Management adherence

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Loan IQ

    Note

    • Understanding of Loan IQ system is beneficial
    • Experience in credit and syndicated loans is advantageous
    • Familiarity with corporate lending operations
    • Knowledge of Canadian Financial Environment
