Inside AV Sales Associate
An Inside AV Sales Associate is responsible for growing existing projects, following up on active projects, offering solutions and alternative products to customers, increasing deal closure rate, and ensuring accuracy and relevancy of information into CRM deals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting sales reps by followingup on their smaller deals to build more business.
- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to allocated projects, and following up with sales solution focus.
- Maintaining baseline product knowledge for all product lines to enable recommendations on best product options for the customer. Be a brand ambassador.
- Educating customers on our products and solutions.
- Answering customer questions or redirecting to the correct resource. Includes followingup to ensure customer receives a timely response.
- Supporting the entire sales process over the phone in a friendly and professional manner.
- Organizing and managing deals/calendar/time efficiently to ensure priorities and timelines are met.
- Maintaining solid understanding of inventory and availability to ensure communication of accurate information.
- Driving business growth and revenue by cross selling across product lines.
- Updating the CRM with detailed and relevant notes for customer interaction to ensure high level of consistency in ongoing interactions with team.
- Attending regular meetings with sales organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possesses solid and creative information based selling skills.
- AV Sales experience with a minimum of 2 years AV experience.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
- Hardworking, highly organized, and selfmotivated
- Collaborative and works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Possesses strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. French is an asset.
- Problemsolving skills.
- Must be very comfortable on the phone.
- Friendly and enthusiastic.
- Be a great listener/practice active listening.
- Inquisitive, asking questions about customer and their business to better respond to their AV needs.
- Be genuine, confident, humble, trustworthy, positive, and fun.
