The College has an exciting opportunity for an HRMS Coordinator to join its fantastic teamThis exciting opportunity will initially be primarily involved in a large project which involves a college wide ERP implementation of Workday, which includes process transformation for human resource, finance and student administrative transactions.

This implementation is a multi year project which will have a dynamic impact on the college and dramatically enhance both the student and employee experience.


Note:

This is a full-time Administrative position (37.5 hours per week)


Duties:

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer this position provides specialized knowledge of HR Management Systems (HRMS) technology. The incumbent supports the HR department by providing management data/information, systems and processes to achieve HR strategic initiatives. Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Payroll will begin to be implemented in 2024.

The incumbent will manage and lead ongoing needs analysis and implementation activities as they relate to Workday and other HR systems.

Working with a variety of clients, the incumbent analyzes business processes and client needs to identify Workday and other systems solutions.

This position gathers, analyzes and disseminates complex confidential data to develop and produce a variety of statistical and management reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.


Qualifications

  • Post Secondary 4year degree in Information or Business Management Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' of related experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Specialized knowledge of HRMS Systems
  • Advanced proficiency in manipulating data from multiple sources, using a variety of reporting solutions in response to HR data requests is required
  • Proficiency in incident management (tracking issues, investigating/troubleshooting/resolution) is required
  • Experience working in a large, multidepartment organization
  • Familiarity with union and nonunionized working environments would be an asset
  • In addition to advanced level expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, experience in using modern cloudbased HR technology would be an asset (i.e. Workday, CornerstondOnDemand)
  • Experience with Colleague HR, PeopleAdmin ATS, Sharepoint, Crystal & Informer Reporting would be beneficial
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical and statistical ability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business analysis relating to HRMS
  • Effective project management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
