We are looking for a Finance Clerk to join our team
The Finance Clerk will support our growing group of companies including Kindred Home Care, GOJI properties, and others. We are a group of individuals who are innovative, energetic & forward-looking. We are looking to fill a role as a Finance Clerk to meet the growing needs of our team.

In a role as Finance Clerk you are responsible for supporting overall administrative & bookkeeping aspects of the finance department.
This includes maintaining an organized database and filing system while working closely with the rest of the department and companies.
Role Responsibilities:
- Preparing & managing all regular bookkeeping
- Reconciliations & credit card statements
- Performing month end close & preparing all info for review
- Maintaining our payables inbox
- Preparing all accounts payable runs
- Releasing payments after approvals
- Accounts receivable & invoicing
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A minimum of 35 years of experience working as a bookkeeper
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, and Sage.
- Excellent financial and mathematical skills.
- Good understanding of financial and bookkeeping processes and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Please note this is a hybrid position based in Halifax._

Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
