You as a Project Controls Manager/Estimator will be:

  • Set up, maintenance, and auditing of the project administration, costing, scheduling, and quality.
  • Execution, project planning, and resource utilization
  • Analyze Plans, specifications and requests for proposals to prepare bid estimates and proposals
  • Prepare Quantity Take Offs, Insurance Requests, and Bonding Requests
  • Attend Site Visits and Pre Bid Meetings as necessary
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to other estimators and coordinators to promote maximum productivity.
  • Working with multiple Project Managers and Superintendents in your respective roles.
  • Maintain accountability for field costs and forecast costs to complete; and implement cost control procedures within the Project Execution Plan.
  • Ensure jobsite procedures and controls are implemented by all personnel.

Is this the right role for you?

  • 5 years+ of experience working as a Project Manager or Estimator in construction
  • 7+ years experience in commercial buildings, earthworks, road building and underground utilities is required
  • Experience with cost consulting is an asset
  • Working with CCDC agreements is an asset
  • Capable of travelling between multiple sites, based out of the Edmonton Area.
