PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
Follow FIFO (First In First Out) to ensure quality of ingredients
Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
Organizing all the walk in fridges and storage shelves
Communicating with others to facilitate an efficient service
Assist with labor management.
Bringing a positive, cooperative and inquisitive attitude to the team
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

Qualifications

2 year cooking experience in a fastpaced restaurant is required.
1 year of experience in a pizzeria is also a requirement, especially the ability to stretch dough
Culinary diploma/degree is an asset.
Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Able to stand for entirety of the shift.
