Job Summary:


As a Payroll Systems Analyst, you'll be part of a team of payroll administrators, working to support and improve JDE HCM/Payroll software solutions that touch every part of our business.

You'll assist the payroll team with troubleshooting, interacting with them directly daily, as well as working on testing, continuous improvements, and setups.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Supports the payroll team in troubleshooting JDE endtoend, full cycle payroll, yearend processes.
  • Design, develop, test and document new payroll IDs, union tables, premiums, new earnings/deduction/special calculations, and accruals. Identify system impacts and validate the results.
  • Reviews monthly payroll Integrity reports. Investigates unreconciled items and differences between the payroll register and tax forms.
  • Designs advanced payroll reports in DAS for internal and external payroll reporting as required.
  • Performs regular audits of payroll data in JDE payroll
  • Provide functional expertise for projects and systems that integrate with JDE Payroll, timesheet system, streamlining processes to ensure max efficiency, value added and required.
  • Monitors the needs of the payroll JDE system and communicates requirements for changes, enhancements or service improvements to the Manager, Payroll. Supports all upgrade projects for the payroll system

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 4 years of ERP payroll system experience, strong preference for JDE in house payroll high volume, multiple company
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with particular attention to quality, detail, and followthrough
  • Demonstrated expert level technical skills in MS Excel (advanced formulas, data manipulation, macros)
  • Understanding government legislation, collective agreements, and their effect on payroll
  • Must possess an inquisitive nature and be able to challenge the status quo in a manner that promotes teamwork while embracing the need for change
  • Provides excellent customer service and strong ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple, diverse stakeholders
  • A team player with the ability to work independently

  • This is a remote work from home position with the understanding that from time to time you may be required to attend the office or the project site as business needs require
