Food Service Supervisor - Full Time. 1 year contract
This position ensures the effective and efficient preparation and delivery of meals to the residents within legislative requirements.

The food service supervisor will ensure the residents enjoy a pleasurable dining experience within the scope of the dietary practice.


Responsibilities

  • Assists with the planning and organizing of the activities of the dietary department
  • Ensures with the provision of highquality food service
  • Assists with establishing the work flow pattern
  • Orders and receives food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervises the activities of the dietary department
  • Coordinates dietary activities with other departments
  • Assists in the monitoring and evaluation of performance staff
  • Ensures cost control procedures are in place
  • Ensures compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and any Collective agreements.

Experience

  • Diploma in Food Service Supervision from a recognized program
  • Current membership in the Ontario Society of Nutritional Management
  • Current membership n the Canadian Society of Nutritional Management
  • 1 year of progressive related experience in an institutional setting preferred

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:


  • LTC: 1 year (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Ontario Society of Nutritional Management (required)

Salary:
$27.00 per hour
