- Promote the firm's culture regarding health, safety and the environment
- Accompany and support employees and managers on work sites
- Participate in and lead the risk analysis process
- Issue recommendations in terms of health and safety
- Develop and review safe work procedures in partnership with employees
- Support Health and Safety Committees in their work
- Participate in and lead accident inquiries and analyses
- Carry out audits
- Develop training programs and facilitate training sessions
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the area of health and safety
- Valid driver's licence
- In-depth knowledge of legislation and best industry practices in Ontario
- Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Agility to respond to emergencies
- Ability to management several projects simultaneously
- Experience on construction sites or industrial environments (an asset)
- CRSP, CHSC, or NCSO désignation (an asset)

Mission
The Senior Health and Safety Advisor plays a strategic role in terms of support, prevention and health and safety management within the organization. The incumbent will be called upon to enhance managers and employees' awareness and guide them in their choices in terms of health and safety in the framework of engineering projects.
