As a student in the
Canadian Museum of History - Repatriation & Indigenous Relations division, you will be supporting the repatriation team through the following activities:

  • Scanning and digitization of Museum records in support of research projects within the Repatriation department;
  • Organization of paper files into internal online Repatriation organizational categories;
  • Review and comparison of Repatriationrelated documents to other departmental information;
  • Other duties as required.

What we are looking for:


  • Pursue college or university studies in a program or discipline related to museums or heritage;
  • Experience and/or knowledge of digitizing archival documents.

Eligibility criteria:


  • Priority given to does who selfidentify as indigenous, including First Nations, Metis and Inuits;
  • Must be studying fulltime at a college or university;
  • Must return to fulltime studies next semester (proof will be required);
  • Bilingualism, English essential, French (an asset);
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Working conditions:


  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week;
  • Possibility of teleworking with a minimum of two days on site.

Compensation:
$17.00/hour to $23.62/hour - variation according to the student's level of education

Status:
May 27, 2024, to August 16, 2024
