Ruth and Naomi's Mission is a Christian faith-based organization with a vision and commitment to see the lives of people experiencing homelessness, poverty, and struggling with addiction transformed by the love of God.

To assist in this work, we are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator.

With direction from the Partner Development Manager, the Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for managing our online presence, preparing communications for donors, and running community events.

We are seeking a motivated, creative individual with strong communication skills who enjoys working collaboratively and has a heart for our mission.

Job Description and Duties

Execute social media strategy for all Ruth & Naomi's social media accounts
Generate donor impact reports with support from the Partner Development Manager
Conduct interviews with clients, staff, and external partners for content creation
Coordinate communications with vendors, community partners, and staff for external events
Lead on community event planning and execution
Support on developing a marketing strategy for all external Ruth & Naomi's communication
Improve and maintain website infrastructure
Provide support for fundraising campaigns
Produce written communications for various functions as directed
Other tasks as assigned

Assets & Experience

Education in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in event management, basic graphic design, print media, and CRM software
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools (experience with MailChimp and Squarespace an asset)

Standard hours are 84pm Monday
Friday, however flexibility can be negotiated for current students, parents, etc. who need to work around other commitments
