HOURS OF WORK: - Hours of work are governed by Schedule B (C, J) of the Collective Agreement alongside the Letter of Understanding for Workers in Children's/Youth Services and Recreation Access.
*This is an auxiliary position with no ongoing schedule of hours. We require individuals with a flexible work schedule to work after late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This position requires incumbents to work late afternoons, evenings and weekend shifts with the opportunity for full-time employment in July and August. Additionally, having a Class 4 license would be beneficial. This position will be working with Youth 13-18 and emerging Adults.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you poised to make a profound impact on young lives? We're on the lookout for a dynamic, passionate individual to join our team as a Recreation Leader 3 - Youth Worker, with a primary base at the Greg Moore Youth Centre. In this vital role, you'll engage youth in a variety of captivating recreational activities, programs, and outdoor adventures, specifically designed to inspire youth aged 13-18 and emerging young adults.
As a Recreation Leader 3, your contribution is essential in mentoring participants of all our youth-initiated and socio-recreational programs. You will provide exemplary guidance across various initiatives, creating an environment that is not only educational and experiential but also immensely enjoyable, helping to create unforgettable memories. This role is distinguished by its focus on active recreation, inclusivity, offering personalized support to participants with diverse needs and abilities. Additionally, you will be instrumental in leading and motivating our team of youth volunteers, significantly enhancing the enjoyment and effectiveness of our programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
