    Description

    Principales missions :

    • Négocier et rédiger des accords commerciaux et d'autres documents juridiques.
    • Capacité à gérer et à superviser les réclamations, les litiges et les contentieux en collaborant avec des avocats externes si nécessaire.
    • Connaissance approfondie des politiques et procédures en matière de travail et d'emploi.
    • Fournir un soutien juridique quotidien aux opérations et des conseils orientés vers les solutions à la Direction.
    • Conseiller les équipes internes sur les questions de confidentialité des données et collaborer avec les équipes internes pour évaluer les risques liés à la protection des données.
    • Participer au développement et à la mise en œuvre d'outils et de formations pour les équipes internes.

    Profil:

    • Capacité à gérer des priorités multiples.
    • Capacité à concilier les exigences de conformité avec les besoins pratiques de l'entreprise.
    • Capacité à gérer les conseillers externes lorsqu'ils sont engagés.
    • Sens aigu des affaires et compétences interpersonnelles.

    Exigences :

    • 1 à 3 ans d'expérience dans un cabinet d'avocats réputé et/ou en interne.
    • Membre du Barreau du Québec. Un diplôme de common law et/ou le statut de membre du Barreau de l'Ontario ou d'une autre province est un atout.
    • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais.
    • Esprit d'équipe mais capacité à travailler de manière indépendante.
    • Disponible pour voyager occasionnellement si nécessaire.
    • Une expérience dans le secteur de l'hôtellerie et du tourisme est un atout.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Negotiate and draft commercial agreements and other legal documents.
    • Ability to manage and supervise claims, disputes, and litigation collaborating with outside counsel as needed.
    • Strong knowledge in Labor and Employment policies and procedures.
    • Provide day-to-day legal support to operations and solution-oriented advice to management.
    • Advise internal teams on Data Privacy matters and c ollaborate with internal teams to assess data protection risks.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of tools and trainings for internal teams.

    Profile:

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Able to reconcile compliance requirements with practical business needs.
    • Ability to manage external counsel where engaged.
    • Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.

    Requirements:

    • 1-3 year experience in a reputable law firm and/or in-house.
    • Member of the Quebec Bar. Common law degree and /or Membership of the Bar of Ontario or another province is an asset.
    • Fluent in French and English.
    • Team player but have the ability to work independently.
    • Available to travel occasionally if necessary.
    • Hospitality/Travel industry experience is a plus
