JOB SUMMARY
Are you an experienced professional writer with strong knowledge in the area of adult learning? Are you seeking a new opportunity to lead and mentor others? AGLC is looking for a skilled Program Coordinator with adult learning experience and a strong understanding of online training programs to join our Gaming Information for Charitable Groups (GAIN) program team.
Reporting to the Manager, Stakeholder Information, the GAIN Program Coordinator supports, coordinates and participates in the ongoing development, implementation, administration and evaluation of the GAIN program for charitable gaming licensees, stakeholders, and AGLC employees throughout Alberta.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. education, criminal justice, voluntary sector, business, management).
- Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years related experience in developing and delivering informational programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning best practices, the ability to evaluate program curriculum, supplementary resources, and experience in establishing measurable evaluation processes to ensure program objectives are met.
- Experience making presentations or public speaking is desired.
- Knowledge of the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act, Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Regulation, Alberta's Charitable Gaming Model, AGLC Charitable Gaming Policies Handbook and AGLC's Gaming Handbooks, Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines are assets.
- Experience working in a training environment and/or with website architecture and Learning Management Systems (LMS) for online program delivery, learning platforms and reporting skills is an asset.

- To be eligible to work for AGLC, you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or eligible to work in Canada.
- As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory security clearance and clean drivers abstract (if necessary) prior to employment.
