Family Enterprise Canada is looking for a National Coordinator, Events to join our team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful, and proactive team player to join our team.


Working with our team, departments, members, and external stakeholders, you will employ your professional event planning and project management skills to create memorable event experiences for current and prospective members.

This includes but is not limited to a wide variety of events including virtual and in-person workshops, multi-day conferences, family business visits, small group socials, webinars, and gala celebrations.

If you're a collaborative individual with a minimum of 3 years of event coordination experience, a degree/diploma in event management, and have a proven track record of managing, scheduling, budgeting, and event marketing experience we want to hear from you


Highlights

Tech-Savvy - proficient in MS Office Programs (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Zoom and Teams. Survey Monkey, Mail Chimp and WordPress

Bilingual: Ability to speak and/or write fluently in French is an asset


Responsibilities

  • Develop, support and manage all membership events for family businesses and Family Enterprise Advisors (FEAs), hosted by the organization or member ambassadors in
- person or virtually.

  • Monthly/Quarterly webinars, educational programs, and socials in which it is primarily supporting member ambassadors' execution and planning
  • Create a workback schedule and project plan for all events and additional requirements.
  • Manage budget for all the events and programs.
  • Support and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on budget, and marketleading quality events and programs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract, negotiations, event management and setup.
  • Develop and manage data derived from events and programs to continuously improve member experience.
  • Develop new processes and guidelines for streamlined and efficient events at all levels.
  • Be knowledgeable of latest trends and data, as well as event and program offerings from partner, friendly and competitive organizations.
  • Event admin support: post events on internal systems; and manage event processes such as evaluation, attendance, reports, name tags, handouts, etc.

Salary:
$15.50-$28.64 per hour
