Position Summary:
Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, the Distribution Coordinator, manages the CHEP and other pallet control systems, handles all invoicing, general office related duties, acts as a back-up for the shipping supervisors and provides inventory control and administrative support for the department.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide direct supervision to associates on picking shipments (AS400) and loading/offloading of trucks;
- Maintain computerized pallet entry records companywide;
- Tender through the TSM system as needed;
- Responsible for generating all bills/invoices;
- Liaise with all locations to direct pallet returns;
- Act as a backup for the Shipping supervisors;
- Consolidate all customer deliveries with products from our sister facilities;
- Responsible for dealing with returned and recalled product;
- Check load plans for shipping compliances.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years' experience in a Shipping/Receiving environment preferred;
- Experience with AS/400 system is an asset;
- TMS experience an asset;
- Export documentation (USA, Mexico and other countries);
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel);
- Well organized and detail oriented;
- Can work in a high paced environment.
