Business Overview:
At Pride Bodies Ltd., we offer custom design and fabrication of utility, service, construction and other custom truck bodies.


Quality Inspector Overview:

  • The Quality Inspector will ensure compliance with Wabtec's quality standards while working efficiently and effectively within a lean environment. Our goal is to provide our customers with a reliable, quality product.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review product specifications and work instructions to ensure they are properly communicated to production;
  • Review customer specs and engineering drawings to ensure final product conforms to customer specifications;
  • Final inspection of vehicles to ensure the parts meet all standards of quality and functionality;
  • Perform visual inspections, mechanical and functional verification of vehicle packages to ensure compliance to internal and customer standards;
  • Collect and record accurate data regarding defects;
  • Provide guidance to production on corrective action for defects;
  • Provide description or justification for defective material;
  • Document and communicate results to managers, supervisors and production;
  • Support Company Health and Safety policies.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required;
  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous vehicle inspection or auditing experience;
  • Good mechanical skills and ability to use standard hand tools;
  • Able to read prints, schematics and manuals;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask;
  • Demonstrated flexibility within a fastpaced challenging environment;
  • Ability to take initiative and recognize needs;
  • Computer skills in Excel and Word;
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a DZ license for the shuttling and movement of trucks.
