Business Overview:
At Pride Bodies Ltd., we offer custom design and fabrication of utility, service, construction and other custom truck bodies.

Quality Inspector Overview:

The Quality Inspector will ensure compliance with Wabtec's quality standards while working efficiently and effectively within a lean environment. Our goal is to provide our customers with a reliable, quality product.

Essential Responsibilities:

Review product specifications and work instructions to ensure they are properly communicated to production;
Review customer specs and engineering drawings to ensure final product conforms to customer specifications;
Final inspection of vehicles to ensure the parts meet all standards of quality and functionality;
Perform visual inspections, mechanical and functional verification of vehicle packages to ensure compliance to internal and customer standards;
Collect and record accurate data regarding defects;
Provide guidance to production on corrective action for defects;
Provide description or justification for defective material;
Document and communicate results to managers, supervisors and production;
Support Company Health and Safety policies.

Eligibility Requirements:

Legal authorization to work in Canada is required;
High School diploma or equivalent;
Previous vehicle inspection or auditing experience;
Good mechanical skills and ability to use standard hand tools;
Able to read prints, schematics and manuals;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask;
Demonstrated flexibility within a fastpaced challenging environment;
Ability to take initiative and recognize needs;
Computer skills in Excel and Word;
Possess or be willing to obtain a DZ license for the shuttling and movement of trucks.
