Description
Dragados Canada, Inc., the Canadian construction arm of the ACS Group (one of the world's largest international construction and engineering companies), is seeking a talented and experienced Scheduler to join its dynamic and energetic team.
Dragados Canada was established in 2008 and has grown steadily into an industry-leader in Canada, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, successfully performing a variety of large-scale transportation, bridge, dam, tunnel, and other major infrastructure projects.
NOTE:
This is an on-site role.
Responsibilities
- Produce a variety of regular and adhoc reports in support of project planning and control initiatives
- Lead the development of project schedules and identify activities necessary to produce products and services during project execution
- Manage information integration from engineers, subcontractors, owners, and others to create an integrated master schedule and the 3 weeks look ahead schedule
- Identify critical paths including critical float path analysis
- Create graphics including Gantt charts, activity network diagrams, timescaled logic diagrams, and histograms
- Work with project management to set goals, objectives, and success factors and analyze project status
- Assess progress measurement and develop/update progress curves for progress reporting
- Perform project performance analysis including earned value. Preparing project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies

- Prepare schedule updates and general maintenance in Primavera
- Schedule related information collection and distribution
- Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or other relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of related project scheduling experience
- Experience in large scale heavy civil infrastructure project is required
- Highlevel proficiency with Primavera (P6), required
- Knowledge of MS Project will be considered an asset
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Resultoriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Commitment to working in a team environment
- Must have a driving license and be ready to visit the construction site on a regular basis
