    Job Title:
    Maintenance Supervisor
    Location: Toronto, Canada

    Position Type:
    Full-time, Dayshift

    Our Client, a leading Food Manufacturing Company, is seeking an accomplished hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory role

    Responsibilities:
    - Manage and coordinate maintenance activities in a food manufacturing facility
    - Lead a team of (4) direct reports, offering necessary guidance and support
    - Establish and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
    - Perform regular inspections of machinery to detect issues and ensure safety compliance
    - Collaborate with production and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance tasks efficiently
    - Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, providing on-site assistance when required
    - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
    - Provide training and guidance to enhance the skills of maintenance staff

    Requirements:
    - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent maintenance experience
    - Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in the Food Industry
    - Strong mechanical aptitude and effective troubleshooting capabilities
    - Exceptional leadership and communication skills
    - Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks in a dynamic setting
    - Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to food manufacturing

    Preferred Qualifications:
    - Certification in maintenance management or a related field, or 433 Millwright license
    - Proficiency in preventative maintenance software systems

    Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
