The role
The Procurement Analyst plays a pivotal role in providing insight and guidance to our purchasing team. You will be tasked with finding consolidation and savings opportunities for our restaurants, hotels and resorts.

Our purchasing department is a team of 9, and most of your responsibilities will lie in supporting the category (buyer) team of 4.

As our Procurement Analyst, you will be the go to person for cost price analysis, identifying trends and providing insights, which will assist in formulating negotiation plans.

We are looking for a detail oriented, confident, and enthusiastic individual to grow with our team, with eventual opportunities for development into a logistics or buyer role.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be a data driven person that enjoys taking on new challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a centralized database of all contracts and pricing that the category team manages.
  • Run pricing audits to ensure there are no discrepancies between contract and delivered pricing.
  • Support the category team with analysis on contract renewals, RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Requests for Quotations).
  • Build and maintain a centralized database of specifications.
  • Manage the internal and external flow of rebates across the organization.
  • Provide insight and guidance to the team on consolidation opportunities.
  • Continually build on current data feed engage with vendors to leverage their data capabilities.
  • Provide monthly, weekly, and adhoc reporting on various purchasing KPIs to the senior leadership team.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an analyst role.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerBI and excel preferred, with experience writing DAX and SQL queries.
  • Previous experience using Crunchtime or similar inventory systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics or statistics considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Impeccable negotiation and decisionmaking skills on top of good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and function at a high level within a complex fast paced environment.
