Join our team as a Research Assistant (RA) and contribute to a ground-breaking study on organ donation following Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) in Canada. This project, supported by Canadian Blood Services and the Canadian Association of MAiD Assessors and Providers, aims to conduct a comprehensive environmental scan to understand the landscape of organ donation within the context of MAiD, informing policy, clinical practices, and educational initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The RA will play a pivotal role in various phases of the research project, including updating literature reviews, administering surveys, conducting qualitative interviews, and analyzing data. This position requires familiarity with research methodologies, particularly systematic and scoping review methods, and proficiency in qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo. While prior experience or interest in organ donation and transplantation projects is advantageous, training will be provided during the employment term.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in health sciences or related field (COMPLETED)
Graduate program ongoing or finished in health sciences or related field
Experience with systematic or scoping reviews, qualitative or quantitative research
Familiarity with organ donation processes is an asset

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and willingness to learn
