THE ROLE
Key internal relationships include Directors of Sales, Business Development Managers, Terminal Managers, Dispatch Managers, Billing and Credit/Collections.
This role reports to the Director of Sales and interacts with executives, management, direct reports, internal departments, legal counsel, operating branches, front-line managers, external agents, vendors, and key contacts with current and potential customers.

- Comprehensive understanding of the Tank Truck Industry and the company's operational capabilities
- Knowledge of current market pricing relevant to the company's interests
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Responds to customers requests for pricing with accurate costing based on the Trimac Proprietary Pricing Model.
- Assist Business Development Department by providing customized customer reports on an as needed basis.
- Manage contract and rate tables to ensure accurate billing, train and assist customer service and pricing analysts and rate administrators with rate quotations and pricing of projects.
- Maintain high levels of professional leadership and encourage ethical business practices in all areas of pricing and rate analysis.
- Conduct thorough analysis of pricing data, including costs, margins, and market benchmarks. Utilize financial models and pricing analytics tools to evaluate pricing effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Set prices for new and existing products/services based on pricing strategies and analysis. Ensure pricing decisions are implemented effectively across all channels and regions.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to align pricing strategies with overall business goals. Collaborate on product positioning, promotions, and gotomarket strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize pricing strategies through testing, analysis, and feedback. Identify opportunities to enhance pricing processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage pricing for large contracts and agreements with key customers or partners. Negotiate pricing terms to ensure favourable outcomes while maintaining profitability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in pricing management, preferably in a similar industry or market.
