    Company Description

    Forward House provides support to adults with an Intellectual Disability to live in their own homes, work and participate in their communities. We are an organization dedicated to providing individualized supports to people through supporting independence, enhancing participation and involvement, community engagement and advocacy.

    Role Description

    Demonstrate an ability to apply leadership and managerial principles in an ever-changing environment, including: effective delegation, conflict resolution, crisis management and employee engagement and motivation.

    Ability to lead people and change

    Accountability to the organization's Principles of Service, Mission, Policies and Procedures, and any MCCSS directives/Compliance/QAM and the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act

    Demonstrate independence in decision making

    Working with and managing direct support professionals and ensuring all aspects of support meet the Mission, Principles of Service, Policies and Procedures, MCCSS directives/Compliance/QAM

    Ability to communicate clearly, with all team members and community partners

    Some experience in using digital forms of communication, documentation

    Flexibility in hours of work

    Participation in on call duties on a regular rotational basis
